About Me
I live in the shadows of Mount Diablo and I have the wonderful blessing of seeing the beautiful sunrises. I love to capture the pictures of Mount Diablo as the sun rises over the ridge. In the morning before the sun rises and crests the ridge of Mt. Diablo, I have a brief window to observe the cloud formations or different weather patterns that make for awesome sun rise photos. This opportunity can sometimes be a matter of five to 10 minutes. If the formations for a spectacular sunrise look in place, I set up and wait to see what might develop above Mount Diablo and make sure I’m prepared to capture the sunrise with my camera. My photos capture the rare beauty of Mount Diablo here in Walnut Creek, California with the sunrise in the background.
I have lived in the Bay Area of California all my life. I have always appreciated the sunrises of Mt. Diablo and hope you enjoy them through my photos as much as I do.
